Undergraduate Student

profile picture research (002)Lauren Christenson is an undergraduate student at Texas State currently perusing BSc in Industrial Engineering. Her focus is to analyze journals that encompass systems such as geographic information, disaster relief, transportation, ect., in order to provide an inclusive draft of the grant proposal this summer. In the fall she plans on furthering her work with Dr. Dong.

Daniel Jacobson is an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech pursuing BS degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) and Computational Modeling and Data Analytics (CMDA). His research focuses on applying machine learning into stochastic programming in order to create a new class of theoretical optimization methods.

Menna Hassan is an undergraduate student at Purdue University pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering. Her research focuses on using machine learning methods for stochastic programming to improve optimization.

Alexander Little is an undergraduate student of Industrial Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics at Texas State University. His current research focuses on applying machine learning and data science techniques to identify social media misinformation. He will start his master study in Fall 2020.

Jorge Dozal is an undergraduate student pursuing a BS in Industrial Engineering at Texas
State. His focus is coding to analyze/filter tweets concerning COVID-19. He does this by
listing geographic information and specific priorities or needs during the pandemic by state,
in order to provide an inclusive draft of the grant proposal this summer.
